2 Superstructure IDs (SSID)

The superstructure describes all possible elements in the work compendium historiae ... Initally we create these items in a google spreadsheet with various tables: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Wg4BcFz5JBXwpQptByYl9abQc_aFmau9AvVpn5etUbE

Here are the considerations, notes and rules for the single tables:

(some discussions may have taken place in the respective githib issues: please transfer the results from there as well but keep in mind that the issues surely are not complete)

Nodes & Texts

Dear all, we can finally declare PIDs of nodes and texts established! After discussion, responding to the needs and desires that emerged, team Venice proceeded as follows:

NODES

(1) one person, one name, sometimes composite: 
n-ada
 n-tubalCain


(2) same name, different people:
 n-delbora1
 n-delbora2 
n-maria1 
n-maria2

(3) same name, different people, usually in MSS comined with an attribute, which only appears in the editorial name:
 n-ptolomeus1 > ed.n.: Ptolomeus filius Lagi
 n-ptolomeus2 > ed.n.: Ptolomeus Philadelfus


(4) same person, known by different names, within a single medallion (Sale uel Cainan; Jechonias uel Eliachim uel Joachim; etc.); alternatives only appear in the editorial name:

 n-jeconias > ed.n.: Jechonias uel Eliachim uel Joachim


(5) same person, playing different roles, always in separate medallions, in MSS with label (only Christ):

TEXTS

For text blocks we followed the same rules and also:

(1) we associated the text block with the node to which it refers, replacing n- with t-: n-cain > t-cain

(2) when the text block is unrelated (cf. also column "relations”), we used the first words of the text: t-sexcentesimoAnno

(3) or summarised the topic: t-prologue t-filiiNoe

Groups

We build - rather arbitrary - groups to have a basis for the "2nd layer" of the edition that is, the edition itself. [what is the rationale behind grouping things? Their "belonging together"? The possible idea of the author or the scribes that things belong together? How could this be phrased?]

[groups of nodes versus "other stuff"? free floating text (like the prologue)? free floating "headlines" or texts that are "between" groups (like the era texts?) Or could everything be included in the nodes-groups?]
