PytesSerial v2.0.0 has been released.

This major update improves serial communication efficiency and robustness, especially on systems with multiple batteries.

Highlights

• Consolidated pwr command for all batteries.
• Reduced serial communication overhead and polling round-trip time.
• On a 4-battery system, average round-trip time was reduced from ~1.2 s to ~0.9 s (about 25%).
• Improved PWR and BAT retry handling.
• MQTT sensors and existing Home Assistant MQTT Discovery installations remain compatible.
• Existing v1.x MariaDB databases remain compatible.
• No configuration changes are required when upgrading from v1.1.1.

Some deprecated status/event fields and counters have been removed. Custom integrations using these fields may require adjustment.

Hi! Thanks for sharing this project. I’m building a similar integration in C# for Pytes V5 batteries (E-BOX-48100V-D).

I can already retrieve each battery’s SOC through the master’s serial console using pwr or pwr 1, pwr 2, etc. However, I haven’t found a command that returns each battery’s SOH (State of Health).

Have you found a way to retrieve individual SOH values, either through a console command or another serial protocol? Any pointers or protocol documentation would be appreciated.

the command is SOH n. where the n is the power bank

Thanks for your reply! I tried soh 1 and soh 2 on my E-BOX-48100V-D batteries and get the same output: 16 cell rows, with SOHCount at 00000000 and SOHStatus blank.

Do you know what those fields represent, and whether they can be converted into an SOH percentage for each battery?

pwrsys returns System SOH: 100%, but that appears to be for the whole group. I’m looking for the individual battery values that BMSQt displays. Have you found how it obtains or calculates those?
