AgentOS v6.5

Overview

AgentOS v6.5 continues the transition from an AI platform into a full AI Operating System.

This release focuses on improving the core user experience, strengthening the AgentOS architecture, expanding the App Store and Skills ecosystem, improving SDK discoverability, and laying the foundation for the future agent economy.

Highlights

Super AgentOS

Introduced the next evolution of the AgentOS experience through Super AgentOS.

Users interact through a unified interface capable of coordinating:

  • Agents
  • Apps
  • Skills
  • Workflows
  • MCP Tools
  • FFP Routes

Workspace-Centric Architecture

Standardized the AgentOS hierarchy:

Workspace → Project → Session → Conversation

This provides a more scalable structure for individuals, teams and enterprise deployments.

Studio Improvements

Continued the evolution of Studio as the primary AgentOS experience.

Focus areas:

  • Cleaner navigation
  • Reduced interface clutter
  • Improved workflow access
  • Better workspace organization
  • Foundation for conversation-first interactions

SDK & App Discovery

Improved AgentOS SDK integration and discovery mechanisms.

Applications built with the AgentOS SDK can be surfaced throughout the AgentOS ecosystem through the App Store infrastructure.

App Store

Expanded the AgentOS App Store foundation.

Key areas:

  • SDK application discovery
  • Application visibility controls
  • Platform metadata support
  • Improved install flows
  • Better ecosystem indexing

Skills Infrastructure

Expanded Skills support as a first-class AgentOS primitive.

Skills can be:

  • Installed
  • Managed
  • Reused
  • Combined with workflows
  • Distributed across the ecosystem

Vault

Improved secret management architecture.

Enhancements include:

  • Credential isolation
  • Secret assignment controls
  • Runtime access safeguards
  • Improved security foundations

Universal MCP

Continued development of the Universal MCP layer.

Goals include:

  • Tool interoperability
  • Service connectivity
  • Workflow integrations
  • Cross-provider compatibility

FFP Integration

Expanded integration with the Future Fabric Protocol (FFP).

AgentOS remains the routing and operating layer while FFP serves as the execution and compute layer.

Developer Experience

Developer improvements include:

  • SDK enhancements
  • Registry improvements
  • Improved application lifecycle support
  • Better ecosystem discoverability

Architecture

AgentOS now consists of three primary layers:
