This new version of ciceroscm includes a modular structure that allows for running with different versions of thermal model and carbon cycle. It also includes a simplified box model carbon cycle and a simplified two-layer ocean model which can be used in lieu of the standard version.

In addition, support for regional aerosol species with different forcing, and generation of gaspam input for such files is included. Tropospheric ozone forcing calculations have also been simplified, so that they are no longer linked to fossil fuel CO2 concentration levels, as this produces strange results for idealised experiments.

This version improves parallel and distribution runs taking out old calibration code as a new separate calibration pipeline is now implemented, and also adding options to run in chinks and give richer outputs from parallel runs.
