Hard time understanding the code....

It depends what part you are looking at..... I presume you understand reverse engineering cause otherwise this will be a hard task fr:

Requests get caught by index.js and managed (different endpoints) then calls api.js with a media object with the media information. the api.js uses all the providers and passes the media object to the said provider. each provider file scrapes the said provider with the information of the media object and returns an array of files, subtitles and errors if any occured. (ERRORS ARE ERROROBJECTS [SELF IMPLEMENTED])

after the api gets all the information from the providers, it returns back to the index.js.

Spent a week just debugging the response and provider url, coz some of em won't work with even headers, I think It is safe to exclude that ?.

Which provider did not work at all?

And yes some of them (nowadays always more) are using headers and origin/refferer restrictions. (and frigging cloudflare turnstiles)

Latest release 1.0.2, almost every provider returns an error. Autoembed and VidZee work. Wyzie and Libre only return subtitles. All the others return errors. I've tried with multiple movies and tv shows. Generally, I have access to all those websites, nothing is blocked. Examples:

You can't rely on code, you have to scrape with a browser. Best alternative would be an AI tool that automatically finds the obfuscation. Maybe in a couple of years.. or maybe tomorrow. AI is fast.

I beg to differ... AI won't work in these environments. or at least not yet... and as Nischal pointed out, "Using Browser is very much resource extensive and Most of the times the relying on Browser also does not work as Cloudfare Can detects it."

I also saw your changes and I've modified the omss framework now, to set the fastify cors settings directly through the OMSS Config. (also updated the documentation a little)

short answer: no. GitHub likes to block/delete accounts that have "suspicious account activity" like logging in very often from different IP's/location with changing User Agents... I like to do that, so my account gets suspended pretty often (4th time already) and I always get my account back..

how to avoid that?

Well.. As an average internet user there is no risk. The probability is pretty small that your account gets suspended. If you care about your github account very much, i would keep cookies as long as possible (don't "delete cookies") and also avoid VPN's.

I have been trying to get a hold of you. First that OMSS to Stremio addon port was pretty genius. We've added native stremio capabilities!. With that option you can enable the stremio manifest on /stremio/manifest.json.
I also wanted to thank you for your disclaimer you wrote into the description on stremio-addons.net. It is not thaat common to see people being that honest😜.

I've also noticed that you have/had a rather elaborate frontend at https://tv.pulp.watch. We could really use some expertise at https://github.com/cinepro-org/ui if you are up for it!

I actually discovered cinepro through pulp.watch when trying to make my own stream aggregator. I discovered its api and thought it would be a good source.

is there a way to get it to work on any tls, not a single public_url? for example, my VPS hosts core on localhost:3112, but it sends all requests to actual localhost:3112 even though i reverse-proxied it onto /strapi/ of my site. i can try setting the public_url to /strapi/ but it probably won't work. the reason why i cant add an api. subdomain or set a public_url to my domain is because i have multiple domains pointing to my VPS ip via A type DNS. thanks

Okay i think i know the issue. The public url needs to be the full url, so that the proxy service can build it correctly.

Try setting the public url in the .env to: ’https://boltunblocker.com/strapi’

If that doesn't work, it's probably your reverse proxy causing the issue.

To be honest, i would write a small app/router that takes in all the requests and redirects them internally to one or several internal cinepro instances in the vps.

like that you can host cinepro normally and all the requests come from one single point of entry.
