[BUG] async js exports are broken

Not just async exports, but anything to do with promises are also super broken, it's expecting a .catch for all promises from what I can find, sorry to piggy back onto this, but it seems to be a more accurate recreation for the issue at hand

Same here, all our exports in a full NODE env are called after the cosumer expected the result.
Also experiencing a lot of console logs without any error message due to missed catches.
