Built something that fits what this community is doing with browser agents. Vestige is a memory system for agents over MCP: what the agent learns about a site or a task persists locally, and retrieval decays on a spaced-repetition schedule so stale page knowledge fades instead of resurfacing as stale advice. Every retrieval leaves a receipt.
When an agent breaks, the backfill command reaches back through weeks of history and ranks earlier records as candidate contributors. In browser-agent terms, it can point at the flow change from three weeks ago that today's failure quietly inherited. There is also a live 3D view of what the agent currently remembers, which is more fun than it sounds.
Single Rust binary, nothing leaves the machine, AGPL-3.0, repo at github.com/samvallad33/vestige. Happy to walk anyone through wiring it up.
