I think that's a good idea. Instead of the sidebar, maybe we can put it in the About tab, right under the 'View on GitHub' button to keep the menu clean. To keep it simple for now, clicking the button could open a browser link to a new GitHub issue with the OS, logs and software version pre-filled. Later on, we can always build a direct in-app reporter for users who don't have a GitHub account. |

I think it'd be a good idea to have another option on the left side of the app where the different tabs are... Something like bug report where you can press it, and then there's just one simple free form text field where you can write the issue you're experiencing, and then when you press submit it would send it to GitHub, create an issue, and then put the operating system. Software version number, etc. on there automatically. I have seen this done somewhere with another application, but I can't remember which one, but it was executed quite well and it encouraged more collaboration from users that might not necessarily be that technical.
