cast examples exit immediately when unfrozen

Hi,

I’m testing the Cast API examples and I’m able to build and launch caster_qt, caster console, and the python (pysidecaster.py) examples successfully. However, the connection only stays up while the scanner is frozen; as soon as I press or issue “Run”, the connection drops immediately and the GUI exits. I tried disabling the Windows firewall and explicitly allowing Qt Creator and python, but it didn’t help.

My setup:

• Windows 11
• Binary cast-12.2.4-windows.x86_64
• Clarius software version 14.0.0-12919d

Also, when running the Qt and console examples, I see the following error: “Failed to link shader program: Error: Fail to build reflection info.”
