write a script (probably in python) to look through your text and make sure that

1. every acronym has an introduction
2. acronyms are introduced before they are used
3. they are not introduced twice

the first thing can probably be done by searching for two capital letters in a row. only stuff like w.r.t. would be missed by that rule.
