Sports API: corner/booking totals published but permanently SELECTION_DISABLED; competition coverage; PFL market depth

Hi Cloudbet team,

I'm Alexis, founder of GP Simulador — a sports intelligence platform (model probabilities, value detection and price comparison across 40+ books) covering 24 football leagues plus a combat sports product launching shortly. We're currently finalising an affiliate partnership with your affiliate team, and Monika pointed me here for the technical side.

All observations below are from live calls today (2026-07-29) against sports-api.cloudbet.com/pub/v2 with our API key.

1. soccer.total_bookings and soccer.total_corners are published but every selection is disabled

On soccer-brazil-brasileiro-serie-a, event Mirassol FC SP v Clube do Remo PA (status TRADING, 43 markets), the derivative totals markets come back with price: 0, maxStake: 0, SELECTION_DISABLED on every selection:

So it isn't the event or the period being untraded — it's specifically the over/under totals on corners and bookings.

Questions:

• Is this part of the reduced coverage described in 🚧 Important Update: Cloudbet API Rebuild #170 (API rebuild), and is there an ETA for restoring the totals markets?
• Is soccer.total_booking_points the intended supported alternative? If so, could you confirm the points scale used (i.e. how yellow / red / yellow-red map onto booking points) so we can price against it correctly rather than guessing?

2. Which competitions carry corner / booking markets at all?

Sampling one event per competition across today's 58 football competitions, corner and booking markets only appear on the larger competitions (Brasileirão Série A: 43 markets with both; UEFA Champions League: 35 markets with corners, no bookings). Everything smaller — Série B, second tiers, the Icelandic and regional competitions — returns 3–32 markets with no corner or booking keys at all.

Question: is derivative market availability driven by competition tier, and is there any way to query it programmatically (a market-availability endpoint, or a documented list per competition)? Right now the only way to find out is to fetch every event and inspect the keys.

3. Combat sports — PFL market depth and PRE_TRADING events

For 2026-08-01 (sport=mma, 3 competitions / 25 events):

• mma-international-ufc — Uros Medic v Daniel Rodriguez: mma.1x2, mma.winning_method, mma.winner_exact_rounds enabled (mma.winner and mma.totals disabled on the same event — is mma.1x2 now the canonical replacement for mma.winner?)
• mma-international-pfl — Usman Nurmagomedov v Archie Colgan: a single market, mma.winner
• boxing-international-matchups: boxing.1x2, boxing.totals, boxing.will_the_fight_go_the_distance, boxing.winning_method enabled

Questions:

• Given Cloudbet is the Official Sponsor and global Betting Partner of the PFL, will PFL cards get the same market depth as UFC (winning_method, winner_exact_rounds, totals)? We're launching full PFL card coverage and Cloudbet is currently the only book in our feed pricing those fights at all.
• Cards frequently sit in PRE_TRADING with an empty markets object until close to the event. Is there any published signal or schedule for when trading opens on an event, so we can avoid polling?

Happy to share event IDs, raw responses or our account UUID if that helps narrow anything down.

Thanks for the detailed report - what you’re seeing with the corner/booking totals (and the limited coverage in general) is exactly the temporary reduced market availability we described in the API rebuild update (#170).

We don’t have a clear ETA yet for when these markets will be fully re-enabled for everyone, but the team is actively working on restoring and expanding coverage.We’ll update this thread (and reach out) as soon as they’re available again. Appreciate your patience and the thorough feedback!

Thanks Klaus — that's clear on the corner/booking totals, and understood on the ETA.

Two of the questions from the original post are still open, and both are things we can work around today if we know the answer, so I wanted to surface them again:

1. soccer.total_booking_points — what is the points scale?

This one is the practical one. While soccer.total_bookings is disabled, soccer.total_booking_points is live and priced on the same events (e.g. Brasileirão Série A, under 55.5 at 1.60 with a 1200 max stake). If we know how the points are computed — the weight assigned to a yellow, a red, and a yellow-red — we can price that market directly instead of waiting for the card-count totals to come back. Is it the common 10 / 25 convention, or a different scale?

2. PFL market depth vs UFC

On 2026-08-01, mma-international-ufc exposed mma.1x2, mma.winning_method and mma.winner_exact_rounds, while mma-international-pfl exposed only mma.winner for the same date. Given Cloudbet is the Official Sponsor and global Betting Partner of the PFL, is the thinner PFL market set also part of the rebuild's reduced coverage, or is it a separate trading decision for that competition? We're launching full PFL card coverage and Cloudbet is currently the only book in our feed pricing those fights at all, so we'd rather build against whatever the intended end state is.

Also, a small related one while I'm here: is mma.1x2 now the canonical replacement for mma.winner on UFC events? We saw both keys present, with mma.winner disabled and mma.1x2 enabled on the same fight.
