missing image tag for 17.6

right now it seems that you cannot upgrade to the image ghcr.io/cloudnative-pg/postgresql:17.6 since the 17.6 tag is missing

The ghcr.io/cloudnative-pg/postgresql:17.6 image tag is currently missing due to failures in the GitHub Actions workflow during the package installation step, which prevented the image from being built and signed. This affects recent builds and environments that require image signature validation, so the 17.6 image is not available for upgrade right now. Maintainers are aware and investigating the issue, but there’s no official workaround or ETA for a fix; the only option is to use previously signed images until new signed versions are published. This issue also impacts other tags like 16.10 due to related build and base image deprecation problems. You can track the status and details in the repository issue.

If you’re planning a major upgrade, note that PostgreSQL 17.6 includes a bug fix required for upgrades from 17.0–17.5, so having this image available is important for upgrade paths. For now, monitor the repository for updates on the image publishing process and use supported images where possible.

@cstruck The cuplrit was a typo in the new way we are generating legacy rolling tags. (We have recently migrated away from depending on https://hub.docker.com/_/postgres images).
We've just merged a patch, after the build pipeline runs the tag will be available.

However, please look into https://github.com/cloudnative-pg/postgres-containers?tab=readme-ov-file#deprecated-rolling-tags and follow the "IMPORTANT" suggestion (e.g start thinking about migrating away from that tag format, because they won't be available anymore once bullseye goes EOL)

Yeah thanks for the heads up. I've already tested with the new image tags 17.6-standard-trixie and 17.6-minimal-trixie
