pg_cron isn't currently included in the standard postgres-containers images, but it has been mentioned as a candidate extension in previous discussions. The current images include PGAudit, pgvector, and pg-failover-slots.

In the meantime, you have a couple of options:

1. Build a custom image - Fork the repo and add "postgresql-${PG_MAJOR}-cron" to the Dockerfile template

2. Use dynamic extension loading - CloudNativePG now supports mounting extensions as OCI container images, allowing you to add pg_cron without rebuilding the base image

This issue could serve as a formal feature request for including pg_cron in the default images if that's something you'd like to propose!
