🎛️ ClusterShed

Build clusters. Build skills. Build you.

Welcome to ClusterShed my home-lab workshops for DIY DevOps, infrastructure tinkering, and automation projects.

🔧 What we do

  • Home lab hardware + automation: Turn everyday gear like tiny PCs, Raspberry Pis, old desktops, solar panels, and whatever other random things found into infrastructure-class clusters to build, break, and learn from.
  • Code, pipelines, and reference builds focusing on Kubernetes, K3s, networking, observability, and cloud-native stack.

📂 Featured Repositories

  • myrmidon-k3s A tiny-PC K3s cluster reference build: fleet of nodes, controller, persistent storage, networking setup.
  • go-clusterbulb Kubernetes health indicator that integrates with smart bulbs (via Home Assistant) to show your cluster’s status in real-time.

🎯 Why this channel & repo matter

You might already be familiar with cloud platforms, tutorials and “cute” home-labs, but this is different. At ClusterShed, my goal is to bridge the gap between hobbyist tinkering and career-level infrastructure skill sets.
This isn’t just “fun builds”, it’s a playground, an infrastructure gym.

🚀 Get Involved

  1. ⭐ Star the projects you like.
  2. 🔁 Fork & build: Use the reference repos as starting points for your own lab.
  3. 📝 Submit an issue or PR if you have an enhancement, tip, or result to share.

Thank you for stopping by! Let’s spin up some clusters, run some pipelines, crack open the terminal, and turn automation into skill.
