The trigger output range seems to go from -1.0 (not pressed) to 1.0 (fully pressed), but the initial output is 0.0 until the trigger is moved. It would make sense to have the trigger output range from 0.0 (not pressed) to 1.0 (fully pressed) instead, this way the initial output would be consistent with the default trigger state.
