💡 Add option to hide `Sponsored Videos` on Home

⚬ PROBLEM:
Currently, there is no option to block or remove these sponsored videos, which is also a type of ad on home page, taking unnecessary space.

⚬ SOLUTION:
Add option to remove them completely whithout leaving any blank space behind. The home page should only have videos (no sponsored or blank space behind after removal). I used many scripts to remove them, but they leave a blank space as residue.

⚬ RELEVANCE / SCOPE:
Yes, it'll be very useful for everyone, as noone love these sponsored (instead of any alien who came from another planet, surely)

If possible, can you create a JS script on Greasyfork to hide all the ads and sponsored videos? It'll add an addition for users who uses tampermonkey for other additional scripts.

Also, I appreciate the suggestion regarding a Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey script. That’s a great idea to support users who prefer custom user scripts. Once this feature is merged, I’d be happy to explore creating a complementary script for Greasyfork to hide ads and sponsored videos directly.

Nothing much, just try to block ads and sponsored completely, instead of skipping them. 1-2 sec delay is manageable. Also, it'll block all type of ads, banners, sponsored.

Bcoz there are so many scripts which only skips the ads. And most of the scripts are only for skipping the video. And if any script have a proper block feature, then, the author clutters the scripts with useless things like free download button added, blah blah blah.

So try to keep it simple and minimal.

As an optional enhancement for users who rely on Tampermonkey, I’ve also published a small companion userscript on GreasyFork that completely blocks YouTube ads and sponsored videos (rather than just skipping them):

It keeps the layout to be refreshed every second. means the home layout is not stable.

Okay, but it does hide the videos that are labelled as sponsored or promoted that appear on the feed and homepage. If you are talking about the ads that appear during the video, then it won't work because I haven't added the script for that.
