Alternatively, we can also just never remove the build directory and only update it, and keep the static files in there. Run buildpack runs
npm run build, configured viabuildpack-run.shStatic buildpack serves what is in
builddirectory, configured viastatic.jsonnodejsbuildpack comes bundled with npm and apparently runsnpm run buildfor us!This means we can probably take out the
heroku-buildpack-runand associated script inbuildpack-run.sh, but for sake of getting this out the door, we can worry about that 2min optimization later.
