Let us move the controller please

On some sites like netflix for example on this pic its just in the middle of the screen please give us the option to move the controller

This is fine when you can actually access the control. But with netflix, you can't. I don't know if it's a z-index issue or what, but you can neither click on the item or see a change when you hover it.

Does the show/hide controller work ("V" key)?
Also, I have the setting "Hide controller by default" unchecked - I don't know if it's the default but it's another thing to try.

a 3rd option would require an adblocker (I use uBlock Origin) whereby you can right-click on the popup & select "Block Element" - there might be an overlay that stops you from accessing the controller.

I don't have netflix but if you have this error somewhere else I can try the "Block Element" if you don't know what I'm on about (I used it during the YouTube adblock-block time & it worked without any difficulty)

if there is an overlay then the whole screen or the whole video will have a red hue.

a 4th option is to try one of those "allow right-click" extensions/add-ons as some sites block right-click menus.

How about adding a setting to control the location? You can manually do so by changing the top and left in an inspector, but adding it to the settings would be great (as drag and drop doesn't work for me either).

No issues with Chrome, but on Firefox (137.0 (aarch64)) panel sits at center of the screen and I have to drag (or V) to move it.

Issues: Netflix (no z index issue for me, just appears in center), Hulu
Tested: Max, Peacock, Disney, Discovery, Paramount, YouTube, ESPN, and generic 3rd party sites with HTML5 videos.

. (Appreciate your work so much, this extension has changed my life over the last couple of years!).

A similar thing happened to me when I watched a vaughn.live/craigtube video - I had 2 of the fellas on screen... but I just ignored them, as usual (after I moved them to a top corner somewhere) after realising that live-streams would lag/become choppy when my default setting of 1.20 or 1.50 tried to play into the future of a live feed!!

I just switched from Video Speed Controller to Speeder and I highly suggest everyone else does too. It's a massive improvement upon the original. If you install it, you won't look back.
