The next release is built and validated on staging, and it's a big one for anyone tracking cartridge freshness and printer maintenance. Here's what's landing — targeted for the week of July 20 (rolling out gradually on the Microsoft Store, so it may reach you a little after that).

ℹ️ Not released yet. This is a preview of what's coming in v0.14.0. Nothing here is available to download or pull today — the "How you'll get it" section below describes how you'll receive it once the release ships.

✨ New

• Cartridge-lot expiry alerts. Set an Expiry Alert Window (Settings → Preferences, default 30 days) and InkTracker warns you before ink goes bad:
  • Inventory gets soon / expired badges, a filter bar (All / Expiring / Expired / In use), and a "Use next" indicator that points at the earliest-expiring available lot per channel (first-expiry-first-out).
  • Dashboard gets a dismissible expiry banner with snooze (1 day / 1 week / 1 month).
  • The Inventory PDF gets an Expiring & Expired Lots section, most-urgent first.
• eufyMake per-channel maintenance model. Cleaning and moisturizing are now tracked across all 6 active channels (C, M, Y, K, White, Gloss), with White as a single slot (standard or flex white). New service presets: White Ink Flash Cleaning, White Line Swap (Hard ↔ Soft), and Ink Injection (after Moisturizing).
• Service Action Log retention. Configurable Archive after / Delete after windows with a daily cleanup and a Show archived filter — plus date, quick-range, and search filtering.

🔧 Changed

• Add Cartridge Lot is now a mobile-friendly modal, with chip and box expiry defaulting to one year ahead and a Box Expiry scan that auto-extracts the date.
• Extended Shutdown Restart now models an ink injection rather than a full initial fill.

🐛 Fixed

• Moisturizing Liquid capacity corrected to 125 ml to match the real cartridge compartment.
• Mark-in-use toggle contrast in light and dark mode.

📦 How you'll get it (once released)

When v0.14.0 ships in the week of July 20, this discussion will be updated with the download links.

• Windows (Microsoft Store): the update rolls out gradually and installs automatically once it reaches you — no action needed.
• Docker / self-hosted: a new tagged image will be published to the container registry at release. Pull it and restart — database migrations run automatically and are additive (no manual steps).
