On touch devices we enforce 44px minimum tap targets via global CSS, which was stretching the Switch button to 44×44 and making it look like a circle.
This keeps the as the hit target but moves the visual 24×44 track into an inner element so the control stays pill-shaped while preserving the larger tap area.
