kb means "kilobit"
mb is "megabit"

I know many people do not like IEC binary standard prefixes, but if you do not like this change please at least change to kB and MB (yes, for decimal prefixes k is lower, M is uppercase). Though it would be technically wrong (not ) at least it will properly indicate that units are bytes.

lowercase b for bytes is really confusing and unexpected.

Thanks for the clean-up, @Self-Perfection! 🙏

I’m generally in favor of following well-established standards. I’m still on the fence about adopting IEC binary prefixes (KiB/MiB) versus sticking with decimal ones (kB/MB), but I agree we should at least switch to the proper decimal prefixes. I’ll check with @cyclotruc to see if he has a preference before we decide.

@Self-Perfection Thank you for the correction on B and b, about the IEC binary standard I think I will agree with @filipchristiansen on this one, I'm also more used to see kB, maybe this habbit will change down the line then we can adjust
