How long before of major software ie linux, llvm, mlir etc will go dark with no humans in the loop ? |

With the push of humans out of the loop, why are we even discussing what languages require less tokens, or how much review is to be done. How often do you look into generated Assembly of compilers to assess their code quality? The ultimate goal should be a revamp of 4GL and CASE tooling ideas, have the models mature to the point that applications are generated directly, the next layer in programming activities. As for possible deterministic issues, we already face them today with machine learning compiler optimizations passes, and JIT compilers, especially in regards to dynamic languages. Now what will developers that cannot get either an architect or manager role do, as the team shrinks size with no humans in the loop, remains an interesting society challenge. |
Uh oh!
