I'm testing it out, it looks very promising.
I would like to suggest some things for future releases:

• Flexible width for all the containers, or even better, a selection on how many columns a Group can have (currently 4), and resize automatically reducing the width for each container as more containers are added.
• An option to open each container in the same page, without opening a new tab.
• Upload our own icons.
• Color customization for each container, group, and background
• Option to add more roundness to the containers corners and groups.
• If there is no description on a container, then the space on the right is left empty, so maybe more columns can be added in the same row to waste less space.
• A limit to the length of the description (a long description just goes on outside the limit of the container and behind the other containers), or alternatively, multiple rows.
• An option to justify the Title of the container to the center.
• For some reason, the first container on the left remains "selected" (clearer background and light blue outline).

Thank you very much for your feedback! I don't want to overload the interface with settings, but I get a lot of requests for theme customization. I plan to add a CSS editor, which should suit everyone.

Thanks for creating this project, it looks promising.

Just a recommendation, for those who don't use Docker it might be useful to change the data directory to a specific one, maybe specified through an environment variable

You can use the environment variable DATA_PATH="./data"

A useful feature would be to have a non authenticated read only access without any ability to make config changes. Authenticated login allows config changes. This would be great in a business environment where we can have users use this as a landing page for all company self hosted apps and company links.

Totally agree with @ingo916's comment, it would be really nice to allow read-only access to the page, leaving the ability to edit as long as the password is entered.
