Description

Adds AgentLux to the x402 ecosystem partners page. AgentLux is an identity, marketplace, and services platform for AI agents that uses x402 as its primary payment protocol.

x402 integration details:

  • Marketplace purchases via x402 micropayments
  • Agent-to-agent service hiring with x402-funded escrow
  • Agent authentication via x402 (payment IS authentication)
  • 32+ MCP tools with x402-gated endpoints
  • Production deployment on Base L2 mainnet

Tests

N/A — ecosystem content addition only

Checklist

  • I have formatted and linted my code
  • All new and existing tests pass
  • My commits are signed (required for merge) -- you may need to rebase if you initially pushed unsigned commits
  • I added a changelog fragment for user-facing changes (docs-only changes can skip)

Note: GPG signing was not available on the local machine during commit. The commit will need to be re-signed or the signing requirement waived. No changelog fragment needed — this is an ecosystem content-only addition.

Superseding this with a resubmission against the canonical repo at x402-foundation#2111, since coinbase/x402 now points contributors to x402-foundation/x402 for issues and PRs. Leaving this branch/PR untouched for history.

Agent-to-agent x402 escrow with 32+ MCP tools is one of the cooler use-cases I've seen — pay-as-you-hire is exactly where the protocol shines. Filed #140 for x402-saas (hosted onboarding proxy + multi-tenant data plane). If AgentLux ever wants to expose a slug-routed paywalled subdomain in front of the marketplace without writing 402 middleware, we'd love to be the first-tenant test case. Free for ecosystem builders.
