how can i add another support language, very interested by this mcp but it doesn t support mql5 files ( which is close to cpp )
how can i implement it ? i ll be glad to make a pr for this

Hey @cfournel — opened #97 with a step-by-step cookbook at docs/ADDING-A-LANGUAGE.md that covers exactly your case: bringing a tree-sitter grammar (like your published tree-sitter-mql5) into codegraph.

Once #97 lands, the rough flow for mql5 will be:

1. Grab the wasm. Your npm package ships C source — build the wasm with npx tree-sitter-cli@latest build --wasm (the cookbook documents this; recent CLI versions don't need Docker), drop it under src/extraction/wasm/.
2. Probe the AST with the small scratch script in §2 — mql5 is C-like, so the node types should look a lot like tree-sitter-cpp.
3. Pick a pattern. mql5 has functions, classes, methods → use the LanguageExtractor config path (§5a). You can almost certainly start by copying src/extraction/languages/c-cpp.ts and tweaking node-type names where the mql5 grammar diverges.
4. Wire + test as in §3, §7.

PR #57 was the right instinct — feel free to update it against the cookbook's structure when #97 lands, or open a fresh PR. Happy to review either way.
