Description

Grafana Alloy is basically a telemetry collector/agent. It sits between your servers/apps and your observability backends, and its job is to collect, process, and forward telemetry data such as metrics, logs, traces, and profiles. Grafana describes Alloy as an open source OpenTelemetry Collector distribution with built-in Prometheus pipelines and native support for backends like Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope.

That would only make sense as an add-on; anything else wouldn't. I use Alloy at work—it's like a Prometheus exporter—so an LXC doesn't make sense.
