[Feature]: Enable ability to drill down into detailed stats #408

I mean I can have "other" shown on hover. But there is no reason to track "failed streams" or anything like that. No streaming service tells us why something stopped, only that it is no longer streaming. The only statistics that will be shown in this ui are the ones that are validated for accuracy and data backed. |

But out of all the things in this request, the "other" is probably the one that is most likely to make it in. There isnt data to back much else of what you are looking for here |
|
This feature request sent me down a path to do the same. im looking at jellyfin reports to see if i can get the data. |

I see the goal of this request as: A Tracearr admin should be able to display the underlying data that makes up an event or graph in my UI simply by clicking the metric or event record. I agree it definitely should not be trying to do any kind of APM analysis or creating new data categories outside of what's offered by the media server; it should just show the data that made the metric. @connorgallopo could you please explain a bit more about your previous comments "The only statistics that will be shown in this ui are the ones that are validated for accuracy and data backed." and "There isnt data to back much else of what you are looking for here" ? Do you mean that Tracearr currently doesn't have the ability to store and maintain records of the data that it derives these metrics from? Or are you saying it's not even feasible to do a lookup of that data when "drilling in" to a particular stat or graph? I would also argue that while it's true no streaming service today tells you why something failed, that's only true because we're not the ones maintaining them. In Tracearr's case, we are the admins of our media servers. So while I don't expect this feature to directly answer the question "why did my streams fail", that's the question I'm trying to answer as an admin. To answer that, I should be able to click on any graph or metric displayed in Tracearr to see the details and data that was used to create that metric |

Problem or Use Case
I'd like to be able to drill down into stats like the "other" groups in codec stats, so i can dig in and see what media it reflects. It'd also be useful to identify correlations between failed streams and codec / transcode / etc settings -- to figure out if a particular file or combo just doesn't really work, for example.
Same is true for the performance tabs- where there are bad hot spots, it'd be good to be able to drill into them.
Proposed Solution
Essentially it sounds like it's mostly a filtering system - ability to filter the current perf + stats views by some kind of criteria.
Then for specific cases, it'd then be nice to link to specific streams, with as much detail as possible to help debug underlying issues.

Examples or References
i'd say this is more how tools like datadog etc work -- proper analytics tools for apps, so you can build and create whatever dashboards you need etc.
