Description

It may be the backend eventsource support problem.
I tried to add EventSource dep but when I install the repackaged vsix I got the #3009 viewLogs not found error.

thanks for bringing this up @burgesswon. We haven't seen a lot of SSE MCPs yet, so I'd guess there's a pretty straightforward fix. It would be helpful though to have an example server I can test against. Is the one you're using publicly available?

I ran into this on my MCP server it supports both stdio (separate node process) and /sse. stdio works fine with continue, and /sse works fine on other MCP clients that support it and MCP inspector.

Related- and I mentioned this in the discord- there might be some missing retry logic. Say the MCP server is starting up the same time as continue and continue tries to use it and it's not ready, it seems to fail, and the only way to get it to work is to disable/re-enable the continue plugin.

Sry for my late response and thanks for your instant reply.
I just used mcp-proxy(https://github.com/sparfenyuk/mcp-proxy) to convert my stdio server interface to /sse

I think I gotta just use mcp-proxy to use my sse server....
Hope the feature would be fixed soon.
