When connecting Coolify to an external/remote server that already has a control panel installed (Plesk or cPanel), multiple conflicts occur because all of them try to take full ownership of the server's core resources.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Port 80/443 conflict: Coolify runs Traefik as a reverse proxy on ports 80/443, while Plesk/cPanel bind Apache/Nginx to the same ports. They cannot coexist, so one fails to start.
2. Web server config conflict: Plesk/cPanel continuously regenerate Apache/Nginx configs, which clashes with Coolify's Docker + Traefik approach.
3. SSL/Let's Encrypt conflict: Both sides try to issue/renew certificates for the same domains and ports, causing failures and rate-limit issues.
4. Docker / firewall conflict: Coolify relies on Docker and modifies iptables, which can collide with Plesk's own firewall and Docker management.

Question / Request
Is running Coolify alongside an existing Plesk/cPanel installation officially unsupported? If so, it would help to document this clearly in the requirements. Are there any recommended isolation approaches (e.g. dedicated server, VM separation) for users who must run both?

It is usually recommended to use a clean server, but you can adjust most of the ports used if you know what you are doing.
The ports of the Coolify Proxy (Traefik / Caddy) can be changed under Servers > [YourServer] > Proxy > Configuration , these are not hard coded.
Your Apache/Nginx (or whatever will take port 80 and 443) instead, then needs a forward rule for all incoming traffic for your Coolify apps to go back to the Coolify Proxy. Or you the other way around by changing the ports of Apache/Nginx and ad a forward rule in the Coolify Proxy instead.
That is necessary so that both your Plesk/cPanel and your Coolify apps still receive traffic. Browser always default to port 80 (http) and 443 (https) when you visit a plain domain.
