That message is from macOS Gatekeeper, not an indication that your MacBook is unsupported. For a 2015 MacBook Pro, make sure you downloaded On macOS Monterey:
You can also try Control-clicking the app and selecting Open. This creates an exception only for this app; there is no need to disable Gatekeeper globally. Apple documents the same procedure here: https://support.apple.com/102445 If the next message says that the app is “damaged” or mentions an unsupported architecture, please post that exact message because it would be a separate problem. |
