Kernel build & test

This repo is not built standalone in normal NebulaOS development. The canonical, tested build path is NebulaOS-firmware's ./build.sh, which sparse-checks-out this repo's openke branch at a pinned commit, applies the 8 qualified variants, and cross-compiles the kernel as one stage of the full pipeline — see Build From Source.

If you need to iterate on kernel source directly, the fastest verified loop is still through that pipeline (point KERNEL_PIN in NebulaOS-firmware's manifests/dependencies.conf at your branch or commit, then run the build) rather than a separate standalone kernel build — no separate standalone kernel-only build/test procedure is currently documented or qualified in this project.
