Kernel development

Working on kernel source happens on the openke branch (see Branch Model) — every NebulaOS kernel-source change is a real, reviewable commit here, not a patch file.

Known NebulaOS-specific areas of change (per this repo's own README): NS2009 touch controller support, the display panel driver, the BT H5 vendor extension, a watchdog fix, device-tree (DTS) wiring, and arch/mips/Kconfig compression selects.

This repo is a full vendor SDK (kernel, Buildroot, u-boot, and several vendored external tools), each under its own upstream license — see the repo's own README "License" section before redistributing any part of it.

For changes that need to be qualified as a build-time variant rather than a permanent openke commit, see Qualified Variants and NebulaOS-firmware's scripts/build/apply-qualified-baseline.sh — most entries there have real incident history behind why they're a separate variant rather than merged straight into openke.
