Canonical detail: NebulaOS-firmware's Developer Recovery page.
Ranked least to most invasive: automatic fallback (LIVE_HARDWARE_VERIFIED, with a known limitation
if userspace never boots far enough to arm it) → manual SSH slot switch (LIVE_HARDWARE_VERIFIED)
→ USB recovery to stock via ballaswag/ingenic-usbboot (LIVE_HARDWARE_VERIFIED, emergency-only) →
manual repair via SSH (no canonical script exists, NOT_PROVEN) → complete factory restore
(NOT_PROVEN, EXTERNAL_TO_NEBULAOS — Creality's own tooling, never run by this project).
Most user data (printer.cfg, calibration, WiFi credentials, GuppyScreen config/theme, G-code
uploads) survives a slot switch; Mainsail config and camera config/timelapses are genuinely
UNKNOWN, not assumed either way.
