🎯 Big Update: Core is Complete

We are wrapping up the Cortex Core and shifting focus to Cortex Pro — the commercial tier with enterprise features. This means:

1. Core will be frozen for major features (bug fixes continue)
2. New development moves to Pro (private repo, paid contributors)
3. Your existing bounties remain valid — any outstanding payments will be processed

📜 License Change: BSL 1.1

We have transitioned from Apache 2.0 to Business Source License 1.1:

• ✅ Free for personal use (1 system)
• ✅ $20/month per additional system for commercial use
• ✅ Converts to Apache 2.0 in 4 years (January 2030)
• ✅ All community contributions remain open source

💰 NEW: Contributor Referral Income Program

As a thank-you for being early contributors, you get first access to our referral program:

• 10% of all subscription revenue from anyone you refer — in perpetuity
• Example: Refer a company that pays $99/month Enterprise = $9.90/month to you, forever
• No cap on referrals
• Tracked via unique referral link we will provide
