Hi @yeikel ! It's true the release notes for 3.8.2 are overdue. I apologize for the delay.

Release notes are something we'd like to handle via an internal process. That said, we appreciate your contributions and your enthusiasm, and hope you'll continue to lend a hand in other areas.

Hi @yeikel ! It's true the release notes for 3.8.2 are overdue. I apologize for the delay.

Thank you, @dnault! That makes sense. I suspected as much but figured it was worth checking to be sure.

We've noticed a recurring pattern with recent releases where the release notes tend to appear a few days (typically 2–7) after the actual release is published. Since we receive automatic pull requests from Dependabot, this delay sometimes creates confusion about whether the release was intentional or if something else might be going on.

As a result, we usually hold off on adopting the new version until the official notes are available, even though we review the diff in the meantime.

This isn’t a complaint. We really appreciate the work that goes into each release and how consistently the team keeps things moving forward. Just wanted to share this perspective in case it’s helpful to consider in future workflows.

Thanks again for all your efforts!
