did you see some false positives or compiler warnings or something? if false positives.. a unit test can be added.. but I assume you would have added it then.

I have no idea how to even trigger that as the code is so complex. It was just inconsistent and will help towards avoiding those asserts in #5853. |

I didn't actually answer your question. I came across this by reviewing code. The follow-up PR will show that a test is partially unnecessary. |
