[5.9-beta.1]: Extra elements page displays inconsistently

What happened?

Description

I created a second "entries page" (not sure what we're calling this? :)) and it is being hidden in the sidebar at inconsistent times.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a second entries page
2. Clicking entries show the extra page ("New page") in the video below.
3. Clicking Users hides the new page
4. Clicking settings make it show up again?

Expected behavior

I'm not sure what the expected behavior here is but this feels a bit off.
