Licensing and Support

License Tiers

Single server license covers one server. Network license covers a BungeeCord or Velocity network with multiple backend servers, and includes the cross server sync functionality described in [Cross Server Setup](Cross-Server-Setup.md). A single server license will not sync across multiple backend servers even if MySQL is configured manually, the network features are gated by license tier.

Where to Get Support

  • Setup questions and general help: use the resource page's comment section or ticket system, not the GitHub issue tracker.
  • Bugs: use the GitHub issue tracker with the provided bug report form. Include your Exchequer version, server software, Minecraft version, and Towny and Vault installation status.
  • Documentation gaps: if something in this wiki is unclear, outdated, or missing, that's also worth reporting, either as a comment on the resource page or as a note in a bug report if it's tied to a specific behavior that doesn't match what's documented.

What to Include in a Support Request

Regardless of channel, the fastest path to a resolution includes:

  • Exchequer version
  • Server software (Paper, Purpur, or Folia) and Minecraft version
  • Whether Towny and Vault are installed, and their versions
  • Whether you're on a single server or network setup
  • Exact steps that led to the issue
  • Any console errors, pasted in full rather than summarized

Updates

Update announcements and changelogs are posted on the resource page. Read the changelog before updating a live server, particularly for any update that mentions changes to the material registry or database schema, since these may require a one time migration step called out explicitly at that time.
