Read-only library supported?

I have tried switching over to the new version, with Calibre Web I was using my library in read-only mode, I tried migrating the config over to this new version but CWA is trying to change permissions on all the files, will this be a problem? Also would be great if it would just stop trying after checking that the entire folder is read-only, it is spamming the logs with the same message.
