Geneology Assistant

#Geneology Assistant FamilySearch is a great tool in many ways, but it has certain limitations. The biggest limitation in my view is that there is very little information hiding. Another is that it can be edited by anyone - there is no real filter to prevent incorrect information from being added. I would like to develop a desktop product that allows the user to input all information they have personally verified, but also interfaces with FamilySearch. It would have the capability of showing only what is relevant, such as missing temple ordinances, missing information or sources for information, and miss-matches between what you have entered and what is contained on FamilySearch. There are many existing desktop products, but I don't believe any of them really have the capability of interfacing with FamilySearch in this manner. Many of them cost money or are not cross-platform, so I would like to create a free product that is also cross-platform (probably using Java or C++).
