#Crowd Sourced Idea Repository Are you a creative person who loves to contribute your ideas and critiques to make something better? Do you often have little ideas which you have no intention of developing but you would be interested in having for yourself? Then this idea repository will become your new favorite site.

Description

The idea repository would be a place where people could go to propose their ideas. These ideas could then be branched off by others who would like to change or add to the original idea. Others could then branch off of the first branched off idea and eventually it would create a tree like map of an idea which could be traced back to the original "Seed" idea. The best ideas will be ranked similarly to the way StackOverflow's ranking system works. The branch which cumulatively has the most reputation points (up-votes) built up is obviously going to be the most interesting for someone who wants to then implement these ideas. The motivation for anyone to add ideas is reputation points. Any reputation points given to an idea which branched off of your idea are awarded to you as well. This is similar to a multi-level marketing scheme.

Why?

It is good for the community because they can express their ideas and hopefully solve their most frustrating problems by letting prospective problem solver companies know that this would be a good product to take to market. It is also great for product developers because they already have a concentrated audience of consumers who will be very likely to buy their product. This application will serve as the research and development phase for products companies don't even know they are interested in making yet. They won't need to spend any time or money to get the necessary R&D data.

Healthy Competition

These Ideas could very well be the beginning of some awesome Kickstarter campaigns. Or an existing company may very well put it's own idea up to get crowd sourced feedback and direction on how it should design it's newest project. Since anyone can see the projects our application will help promote commercial competition and whoever makes the best product will be the most successful. This is great for the customer because he will get a high quality product at a reasonable price.
