Some models are not run. |
|
Hi Fiona, do you mean that they are not running? I ran all of them before finding the best one. Could you please clarify the issue? Thanks ! |

Hi Fiona,
So are you saying the code is not working for those cells? What's the error
exactly?
Or are you saying the code was not run for them? To be clear,I ran all the
code on the weekend before class and saw all of the results on a plot. But
I then tried to abstract away and write cleaner code. So I decided to store
all the results in a list and loop over (all_models) and loop over them in
the end.
I know that the code works, just did not run ALL the models again, since
I'd seen the output already. Does that make sense now?

Hi Abe, I was referring to the following cells:

Hi Abe, I don't run the code because it would take me hours and hours to do so. Thus, I only grade on the outputs. I didn't see the outputs for those cells, that's what I was referring to when I said there are models unrun. It's great if you optimized your code, but you would still need to run the code to receive full credit. |

Yes, naturally it's a long process. I know because I had to go through it
already! :)
My mistake was to not save the results in a list for the first time when I
left the code running overnight. And then I optimized the code without
running it all over again for all the cells. I understand that you might
have instructions to grade based on the output. But I didn't know all the
output had to already be visible (didn't do that for all the previous
Perspectives assignments till now). I've definitely put in the work,
otherwise I wouldn't get the final result from the plots.
If you'd like, we can check with Dr. Soltoff about what he thinks should be
done here. Thanks!
