1.2.0-Alpha

What's Changed

Sensors & CGM

• Adaptive V2 for Sibionics — added a probabilistic estimator with uncertainty, plus fingerstick-aware calibration.
• Sibionics — fixed repeated history replay and recover startup state locally before downloading history.
• AiDex — fixed F-generation pairing and provisioning, preserved pairing keys across reconnects with backup/recovery, improved sensor card naming, added skin-temperature reporting, and calibrated live values for drivers that don’t integrate calibration themselves.
• Anytime CT5 — fixed history handling, GATT races, authenticated end-cycle behaviour, reconnect storms, and stale timeline anchors.
• Anytime CT-14 / CT2 / CT4 — added CT-14 support, family-specific rated life, local CT2 calibration, CT3 native support, connection fixes, and removed the vendor libalgorithm-jni.so.
• Anytime setup — translated the setup wizard into every supported locale and improved CT3-Ultrasonic service discovery.
• iCan — reject challenge-less glucose during warm-up, repair live gaps behind the history tail, and expose the data actually sent by the sensor.
• Ottai — V3 auth for CN sensors, sefixed live records being dropped due to per-frame layout detection; web-only sessions are no longer persisted and invalid tokens now sign out cleanly.
• Libre 3 — added source-first NFC activation with fallback and BLE setup.
• Dexcom — fixed forecast values being treated as measured glucose.
• Added persistent BLE error history and an always-available sensor connection log with copy, share and save actions.

Glucose data, calibration & smoothing

• Data persistence feature
• Added an exact, windowed multi-sensor timeline instead of handing screens the entire glucose store.
• Reduced per-reading work on the multi-sensor hot path.
• Fixed smoothing lag at live-series edges and exchange collapse when using Graph only smoothing.
• Calibration now uses fingersticks only rather than every journal entry containing glucose.
• Fixed calibration timestamps so they align with chart labels.
• Driver rewrites now invalidate a previously recorded main value correctly.

Alerts

• Critical: fixed automatic alert acknowledgement and preserved the glucose value that triggered an alert.
• Alert episodes now end when actually resolved instead of being broken up by small glucose fluctuations.
• Added same-direction quiet periods and a configurable quiet window, with additional safeguards for hypoglycaemia.
• Trend-alert quiet periods now survive until expiry or a direction reversal.
• High alerts can be muted while glucose is falling.
• Forecast-low alerts are suppressed for flat/rising trends when sufficient COB is present.
• Silent notification refreshes no longer clear active alerts.
• Full-screen alarms now return to the previously used app when dismissed.
• Full-screen alarm permission is checked on startup.
• Added 54 CGM alert sounds across selectable collections, including the new Ember defaults and original Juggluco sounds; all sounds now ship as AAC.
• Reworked alert settings into one clearer screen, with less commonly used controls under Advanced.
• Added per-alarm Reset to defaults.

Dashboard & charts

• Added the age of the newest reading to the dashboard.
• Reworked the sensor-card header and added configurable sensor colours.
• Added glucose-range colouring to the chart preview navigator.
• Secondary chart lanes are less heavily tinted, and selected sensor colours are respected in notifications.
• Chart expansion now has its own gesture.
• Journal-marker drags can pan the dashboard chart.
• Reduced dashboard chart scrolling and composition cost.
• Returning to the dashboard no longer unnecessarily restages/re-resolves its data.
• Reduced hidden UI work and prevented dashboard resume replay.
• Fixed the CGM readiness banner’s inset outline.
• Calibration actions are hidden when manual calibration is disabled, while Calibrate is correctly shown when applicable.
• Improved the pinned statistics strip: four stats are shown by default when they genuinely fit, user-pinned chips are never silently removed, and values shrink rather than clip.
• Added COB to Home and Journal and improved the lone-COB layout.
• Fixed chart-menu dismissal.

Journal, calculations & insulin

• Journal entries now show their source.
• Journal rows remain available while observation is paused.
• Added a dedicated Calculations setup page for profile settings and derived calculations.
• Added evidence-aware, dose-specific insulin activity curves.
• Dose hints now use the current state rather than the end of the forecast curve.
• Smart-pen doses use the pen’s own clock rather than the phone’s.
• Background pen taps can import doses without opening the app.
• Doses recorded before injection are no longer imported a second time.
• Fixed German translations, control widths and journal units.

Nightscout & LibreView

• Added Nightscout v3 support for device status and follower mode.
• Nightscout now tests the configured API version and handles device-status authentication independently.
• Journal changes wake the uploader, refused uploads are retried correctly, and failed deletes no longer block later uploads.
• Re-uploads now write before deleting the old treatment.
• Deleted v3 treatment copies are cleaned up.
• Permission failures are surfaced more clearly, including v3 entry permissions.
• Treatment status now shows when upload was last attempted.
• Added a Refresh token action.
• Nightscout settings progressively reveal dependent options.
• Follower polling wakes the phone, has a configurable interval, and recovers stalled poll chains.
• LibreView can expose the account ID without enabling uploads.
• LibreView export now includes journal data and the glucose values actually shown by the app.

Clone & mirrors

• Added Clone: replicate sensors and glucose data between two phones across all supported sensor drivers.
• Added resumable history recovery in both directions.
• Hybrid ICE is more reliable and can be self-hosted.
• Paired Hybrid devices can reconnect locally without rendezvous.
• Stale negotiations recover when a peer restarts.
• Clone preserves glucose source and delivery route.
• Hybrid settings save immediately; Apply only rebuilds an active route.
• Follower sources now receive a native mirror so they are available to the web server.
• Local mirror mDNS advertisement can be hidden.

Backups, web server & destinations

• Added compressed exports and scheduled full backups.
• The built-in web server’s port is now configurable and HTTPS setup is self-service.
• API destinations can use a separate token for each insulin type.
• Added {temp} for sensor skin temperature.

UI & polish

• Sensors screen redesign
• Fixed colour-wheel hue alignment.
• Modal sheets restore their position after the keyboard closes.
• Settings chevrons now consistently indicate split rows, and master switches extend across the list row.
• Improved spacing and hierarchy of collapsed Advanced sections.
• Fixed journal action-menu ripple clipping.
• Reading rows now use the same delta calculation as the dashboard.
• Trend arrows now consistently describe the value displayed beside them.
• Fixed TTS loss-watchdog behaviour that could leave speech alerts silent.

Build & platform

• Migrated to Android API 37 and the current stable Android toolchain.
• Stopped shipping x86 and x86_64 builds.
• Builds can target a single architecture when requested.
• Added a Google Health connection entry point in Settings.
• Added static coverage mapping and tests for Sibionics, iCan, AiDex and calibration logic.

New Contributors

• @vvsprog made their first contribution in iCan: reject challenge-less glucose during warm-up #211
• @premnirmal made their first contribution in Add entrypoint to connect google health in settings #280
• @JetFoxy made their first contribution in fix(smoothing): keep exchange collapse working under "graph only" #296
