Ah. Consider implementing the Plugin interface. It's made for reporting. You can then use --plugin com.example.MyPlugin or the property cucumber.plugin=com.example.MyPlugin to enable it. You can look at the existing plugins for examples.

Or if you're using JUnit 5 to run Cucumber, you can also use a TestExecutionListener.

Cucumber can generate a json report after running. For my apps, I use the json files after the test executions to send to an api that records the test executions and results.
