%% and %>, for example, are valid symbols (e.g. they're part of the public API of instar) but performing an auto-reformat splits the characters: e.g. % %, breaking the symbols. You can get around it with fully-qualified namespaces or namespace aliases, fwiw, but it would be nice to not have to do that.
