🚀 Version 2.0 Release Notes

🎨 Whole UI Redesign:

  • The "Scholarly Sanctuary" Aesthetic: Completely abandoned the clinical, utilitarian look in favor of a soft, premium tracker environment. The entire app background is flushed with an ultra-soft #FDF8FE tint, accented heavily by our primary #61588A scholarly purple. ✨
  • Custom Performance Pills: Replaced the rigid third-party chart library (MPAndroidChart) with natively sliding, perfectly rounded custom horizontal "pills" at the top of the dashboard. 💊
  • Elevated Typography & Cards: Integrated the "Manrope" typography across every inch of the application. The subject list items have been rebuilt as borderless, heavy-radius (22dp) white containers that float softly on the dashboard natively without harsh grid lines. 🧾

📊 Progress Bar Color:

  • Dynamic Threshold Tinting: Progress linear tracks natively scan your attendance health continuously. Safe attendance (≥ 75%) utilizes a calming Sage Green (#6E9A82), while dropping into the danger zone neatly morphs the tracker into a visible, alerting Ruby Red (#9E3B4F). 🟢🔴
  • Pill Tracks: Converted standard jagged progress bars into rounded thick capsules seamlessly fitting the "no-line" aesthetic. 💠

🎯 Animation Add Subject Button:

  • Reactive Scrolling Hook: Hooked up a native NestedScrollView listener that intelligently dictates the expanded "Add Subject" button’s behavior. Scrolling down through subjects perfectly animates and slides the button straight out of sight to uncover screen space—immediately returning smoothly when you reverse direction upwards! 🔄

🧊 Dialog Box (Add and Edit Subject):

  • Glass/Cloud Modals: Bypassed the rigid white square limitations of the system Android dialog engine. Both the Add and Edit interfaces pop up as heavily rounded (36dp) custom floating glass panes. ☁️
  • Input Softening: Eradicated old floating label text fields. You type into custom soft grey mini-pills utilizing clean placeholder texts and symmetrical padding. ✍️
  • Split Actions: Canceled the traditional text link actions and implemented clean, side-by-side capsule buttons at the bottom. 🔘
