Does Mutations need Maintainers?

There are growing number of pull requests and other issues that some people would love to be able to help get merged into the main branch.

Any chance of that happening?

I am a maintainer for this project, I look at most of the issues and PR's but sometimes its hard to keep up. Our architecture depends heavily on Mutations, which is why I'm always a little hesitant to merging PR's. Most PR's stem from poor documentation, the things people are trying to add are usually already possible. Just in a different and undocumented way.

So I confine myself to merging bug fixes instead of new features to an already feature-rich project.

Maybe, if the Pull Request contains a feature that you're not looking to merge or you think is better achieved a different way... leave a comment?

If you're not looking for feature branches, maybe there's a way to setup something like "mutations-contrib" much like Sinatra. This way the core could remain as streamlined as you'd like, but there would be a way to have the extra flavor some others are looking for too.

If you're looking for a better-maintained alternative, check out ActiveInteraction. I am one of the maintainers. We have hundreds of commits this year and released a new version this week. And for what it's worth, all of the open pull requests against Mutations already work in ActiveInteraction 😄
