v0.1.0 — Paperless Clipper for macOS

Choose a tag to compare

@czei czei released this 27 Apr 18:15

First macOS release of Paperless Clipper, a Safari Web Extension that one-tap-saves the active tab as a PDF to a Paperless-ngx server you operate.

Install

  1. Download PaperlessClipper-0.1.0.dmg below
  2. Open it and drag Paperless Clipper to Applications
  3. Launch the app once (Spotlight: "Paperless Clipper")
  4. In Safari → Settings → Extensions → enable Paperless Clipper
  5. Click the leaf icon in the toolbar → gear → enter your Paperless server URL and API token
  6. Done. Click the leaf on any page and tap Save current page

What it does

  • Captures the active tab as a clean reader-mode PDF via Mozilla Readability + WKWebView
  • Uploads to your configured Paperless server over HTTPS
  • Source URL is preserved so you can trace the document back to the page
  • All classification (tags, correspondent, document type, final title) is left to your Paperless server's existing pipeline

What it does not do

No telemetry, no third-party services, no phoning home. The captured page goes to your server and nowhere else. See PRIVACY.md.
