annotations remain on the svg when deleted #186

I was trying to add some custom annotations and noticed that when you remove them they persist in the svg.
In the following jsfiddle, I successfully removed the first annotation, but then the last one remained on the plot when I tried to remove it: https://jsfiddle.net/ffigueroal/s3znmc20/12/
