Darwin builds failing

Hey,

No matter what I try I cannot get darwin builds to succeed (both amd64 and arm64). I get the following error:

Right, I have figured it out (https://github.com/mxschmitt/action-tmate is amazing). The built line actually told me what the issue was but I didn't know how to interpret it.

The build is building a binary with the name specified in my wails.json file and the action had a different build-name specified so ditto couldn't find the app.

Why is there an option to specify a build-name in the action? I would suggest that it would be better to get that from the wails.json file and automate the process. I presumed setting build-name would override wails

It probably did when I first made the action; the value should be the same from memory.

Recently reworked upto packaging, the ${{inputs.build-name}} variable gets used mainly in the packaging area, like 241+

I'll probably add it to the build discovery stage I made recently to work around webkit on ubuntu 22.x and 24.x https://github.com/dAppServer/wails-build-action/blob/main/action.yml#L135

EDIT: I was working on an action to turn a random PWA into an app, vaguely remember using build-name to pull that off.

Nothing to do with this repo, but interestingly it appears you cannot do a darwin/universal build in wails cli 2.10.0 but it still works in 2.9.3

Had the same issue, make sure the name used for the matrix build section , is matching the one on the wails.json file.

Aligning the names fixed the issue for me while using

Hi, I had this issue and found it to be resolved when removing the inputs.app-working-directory as a prefix for the argument ot the ditto command. I believe this is because the command is already being run from that working-directory, leading it to attempt to access an invalid path.
